Blog

The blog i made with my partner was rather fun~ We had a blog on..Ice-creams! It was truly a fun time reseraching about ice-creams, making up different questions regarding ice-creams, and lastly...just learning more about ice-cream! But because i was on a leave for vacation, i only had the chance to post a few things/questions on ice-cream...blogger wasnt allowed in korea or china : ( I think if i got enough chance, i would post more posts on ice-cream~ It was my first time using blogger, and i found it very useful! Especially for class discusstions, or just as a blog to post more about your life : ) I had a fun time designing the blog to! I made it very pink and colourful~~ <3

Tech reporter

Tech reporter was a very fun assignment! I got to research a new technology and present to the class! I chose the Maxstylus as my presentation, and i had to be an expert on it. At first, i wasnt too fond of the project, since i usually dont like presenting infront of the class. But after a week of preparation, i felt confident and was ready for the presentation. I was proud to show my prezi, and my reasearched information on the Maxstylus. However, my only regret was i kept reading of the prezi the entire time. I could have made more eye contacts with my fellow classmates and teacher! But overall, it was a fun experience and i had fun reseraching and presenting it!

Christmas card with partner

For the chriastmas card, i had alot of fun!! I was able to make a beautiful and colourful card and design a cute flash gingerbread man with my partner! I had fun showing off my skills that i learned from brochures, and photoshopping, and i was able to do everything before i left for china and korea. Our card met all the requriments- Not that much white spce, picutres of photoshopped santa, a flash character(gingerbread man)! I had a lot of fun with this project~

Scratch

Scratch was extremely difficult for me because since i went to korean and china for a couple weeks of vacation and came back late. I never encountered scratch before, and when i came back, most of the people were half done with their projects, and i was just starting and in a big pile of mess. I was lost and confused, and i had only a week and a half to learn something and finish the project. Luckily, i had friends who gave me a little help, and i searched up videos to learn. I was then finnally finished, definitly not that great or unique, but at least i completed the assignement. Although i still have difficulties with scratch, i think with a little more time, i will get better and more skilled. : )

HTML project

For my html project i felt that i did fairly well. I made brochurs, flyers, and I learned the basics of html with my group, but i mostly concerntrated on finding information and writing for our website. I also learned how to cooperate with group members, concentrating, and having fun at the same time! Although my regret is not being able to concentrate more on html and photoshoping, i still learned by watching group members doing them, and i was able to learn a little by observing. I learned a huge amount of information about the Japan earthquake and tusmami, and i had fun researching at the same time~! I learned how hard it is to make a website, how complicated it is. But overall, i had an excellent time making the website~

Flash

For Flash, i had a fun time! It was also my first time doing it, but i found it very fun, because i get to try moving the body parts around, design a short scene of my own, and more. Although it was fun to make, it was extrmemly hard! I had no idea how to do anything at first, but with the help of a couple teacher, i started moving the eyes around, and slowly the arms, legs, and head. After i have basically master all the movements, i started to design my scene. Designing the scene was fun, but i had to think alot about what i should do! At last, i settles in making a man standing in a windy day, and his hat blown away! I had fun making ti, and although i didnt get a very good mark onit, i enjoyed my piece and flash alot : ) I will definitly be doing more in the future.

Photoshop

For Photoshop, it was pretty difficult for me at first. I was my first time using photoshop, and i had no idea what to do! I started off choosing picture for the assignment...transfering Justin bieber in to a barbie! Sounds cool, but i had no idea where to start. I started off by asking some help from my friends. Thankfully, they were kind enough to help me and give me a few tips. After awhile, i was able to know features suck as cropping the body off, etc. And at the end, i was able to transfer Justin bieber in to a barbie!(with a fairytale backgroung) Although it still had many flaws, i was proud of myself for actually finishing it! Im still lacking in photoshop, but hopefully, i will get better at it by doing more!
